Your mission is clear. Your communications should be too.

You are doing work that matters. The question is whether the people who need to know about it, your community, your funders, your partners, can see it as clearly as you can.

Book Your Alignment Call

This is for you if...

  • Your communications are scattered across departments with no unified voice or strategy
  • Your programs are producing real impact but your stakeholder reports and funder communications are not capturing it clearly
  • Your team is stretched thin and communications keep falling to the bottom of the priority list
  • You know how you show up externally matters for your funding relationships and community trust, but you do not have the infrastructure to do it consistently
  • You are going through a transition (a rebrand, a new program launch, or a leadership change) and need communications that hold the organization together through it
  • You are ready to invest in building a communications infrastructure that your whole team can work from

The Alignment Framework

We begin by assessing the foundation your organization already has. From there, the work is shaped around the clarity you need and the communications that matter most now. Ongoing guidance is available when it serves the work.

Align

We investigate the organization, audiences, and existing materials, then clarify the positioning, messages, and voice that should guide the work.

Build

We apply the strategy to the highest-priority communications, chosen and scoped together around the needs of your community, funders, partners, or team.

Sustain

When ongoing guidance is useful, we continue with strategic counsel and periodic review as programs, funding cycles, and organizational priorities evolve.

National Health Equity Nonprofit

The Case Study

Challenge

A national health equity nonprofit was executing more than 35 programs annually across multiple disease areas including cancer, cardiovascular health, kidney disease, and Alzheimer’s. With an average of 12 programs running simultaneously and communications delivered across multiple pharmaceutical and biotech partner relationships, the organization needed more than a refresh. It needed a communications function built from the ground up: brand voice, storytelling series, flagship summit, content infrastructure, and the stakeholder reports that kept funders engaged and programs funded year after year.

My role

Over four years the entire communications function was designed and built. Brand identity established. A patient storytelling series conceived and launched. A flagship annual summit developed that became the organization’s most visible program. Stakeholder reports and funder-facing communications produced across all partner relationships. Social media strategy built and executed from near zero. Earned media secured across local television, radio, and digital outlets.

Result

  • Social media grew from 19 to 3,300 engaged followers across Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
  • 112% consistent engagement growth across all platforms.
  • Industry partners at national conferences discussed the organization’s communications unprompted.
  • Multi-year pharmaceutical and biotech funding relationships sustained through consistent stakeholder reporting and funder communications.
